Youtube Video Embedding Test

If you go into write a new post you seen the youtube logo right there, when you click on it (amazingly) you get an option to search youtube in order to embed your video, strange. (You better have a unique name for your video).

So searching for a test video I uploaded to my youtube account "prevue coming attractions" gets me nowhere, so i'll try to search for another video I know is there 'why evolution made you ugly', putting in makes instead of made means you won't find the video??

I put in 'makes' and sclick go and get the preview image of the video, I click on it and [youXtube]q_eC946RGIM[/youXtube] (minus the X) appears in my post text.

There are options for numerous other video sites, which you can also search, but if you just click on them you'll get the little code for the type of video you choose, it looks similar to bbcode used for forums. so for Youtube its  [youtube][/youtube],google video its [gvid][/gvid], its daily motion is [dmX][/dmX], (minus the X).

So look at the URL link of the of your youtube video, http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=slBp-RxFwE4 and add them, slBp-RxFwE4,  between [gXvid]slBp-RxFwE4[youXtube] (minus the X) or and again the URL for daily motion video is http://www.dailymotion.com/us/cluster/sport/featured/video/x4vqgi_billabong-pipeline-finals-on-hi-shr_sport
but just take the letter/number bit x4vqgi. between [dmX]x4vqgi[/dmX] (minus the X).

Youtube has it own embedded code i'll try that here and see if it works.

Ah yes it does so you can just go to the youtube site and beside it you will see 'Embed' copy and paste that code text into your blog. PS You have to do this in HTML mode so in write mode above the text box is a HTML symbol, hover over and click full and activate.
